Sydney’s Best Animal Parks- Wild Life Sydney, Darling Harbour

Whilst you’d hate to think that visitors to Sydney would miss Taronga Zoo and just visit Sydney Wildlife World instead…. it’s not a bad little animal spot in the city, and it’s certainly in a handy position.

Sydney’s newest animal attraction sits alongside the Aquarium—you can buy entry to both on one ticket and you can also buy annual passes which cover both venues, plus Manly’s aquarium.

Wild Life Sydney has a huge collection of Australian native fauna, exhibits include a Koala Sanctuary, Red Centre area and Kakadu Gorge. Unashamedly designed for visitors to Sydney and Australia, this is also a delightful spot for young Sydneysiders.

We went on a Sunday, it was pretty busy but not so crowded that we couldn’t see the animals. My five year old enjoyed passing through the different areas, representing geographical areas of Australia.  His fave was the big, huge, gigantic crocodile of course, though he also really enjoying touching a lizrd and watching birds and wallabies go about their daily activities.
