Thanks for letting me know Charmaine, I’ll get onto it when home, in transit at the moment! Will let you know.

I like walking at Lake Parramatta. I haven’t done the circuit walk yet, but I have done the two smaller tracks with my son. And there is a good playground for when you’ve finished the walk!

We did a couple of walks at West Head yesterday and I would really recommend them for families with kids (not stroller friendly). The view from West Head look out is spectacular!

At Manly Dam there is a waterfall walk (about 25 mins each way) plus a shorter wildflower walk. My son’s current favourite is to scale these huge boulders which seem quite high but have a gentle slope (in section 1). He is 4.5 yo and I do it with him.

That sounds lovely, I do like Manly Dam but don’t know it very well at the moment. Must change that. Thank you for sharing your favourite walk with other families.

A few of my families favourites not on the list are – Balaka Falls in Carlingford, Lake Parramatta, Balls Head, Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden and Blackman Park in Lane Cove. It is amazing how many there are once you go looking 🙂

The Hermitage foreshore walk from Nielsen Park in Vaucluse to Rose Bay is lovely. Passing the very private and scenic Milk Beach and with harbour views to die for, it’s a pretty easy walk (approx 30-45 mins there and back). I’ve done it with a 3/4 and a 5 year old. Not stroller friendly but definitely kid friendly.
