Now here’s a wonderful spot which I’d have loved to have taken my children to when they were little, but never dared.
Mine are a bit wild. They’d have been splashing off the end of the marina in minutes.
They just never did suit this tranquil, spectacularly scenic slice of Middle Harbour heaven.
Luckily, I have visited alone, and they’d be fine now.
Echo On The Marina Cafe
15 Normac St, Roseville, New South Wales 2069 Australia
Tel: 02 9417 4422
Open: Breakfast 8am – 11am (orders close at 10.50am) Lunch 12 – 3pm Wednesday – Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday (but do check as things change)
Set right on the waters of Middle Harbour, this cafe/restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch daily.
You can sit out on the open deck right alongside the boats and yachts in the marina, so pretty! There is also a covered area which has sides open on warm days and can be enclosed and heated on chillier days.
There is a tiny beach close by and the park also very close, so older children can run around a bit whilst the adults chatter.
Children’s Menu: Yes, excellent one, see photo
Parking: There is a bit of parking on Nomac Street with steps that lead down. It’s easier though to park at Echo Point Park and walk along – see photo below. For disabled access, call the cafe for instructions about use of the inclinator.
Map: See Google map below
