We’re back at Cathedral Square for yet another brrrr-illiant month of winter fun! This time we are bigger than ever with even more COOL activities, mouth-watering food and beverages that’ll warm you up from the inside.

  • Glide under the iconic St Mary’s Cathedral on our giant open-air ice rink, whether you’re a beginner or have skated before we have you covered!
  • Take ride on our Kanga Skate aids, an Australian first you can sit on the Kangas back and enjoy being pushed around on the ice or use it’s tail as a helpful balance aid!
  • Take a SLIDE on the wild side with our ice slide! Grab a snow tube and feel the snowflakes in your hair, trust us you won’t want to miss this!
  • Grab a bite at our delicious food stands, get cosy and watch all the wintery wonders happening around you.
  • Enjoy a drink from our Maple Bar while the kids skate on the rink, or get cosy with your loved one on a romantic wintery date night!

Winterlight Festival – Skate, Eat and Play

When: Friday 5 – Sunday 21 July 2019

Where: Prince Alfred Square, Parramatta

Discover a magical winter wonderland right in the heart of City of Parramatta.

Test your moves on the largest open-air rink in Sydney. With dedicated kids’ sessions to start each day — perfect for little ones new to skating — it offers a safe environment for younger children to take to the ice, complete with Kanga helpers on hand to help them on their feet.

Get your thrill on the Winterlight ice slide, made entirely of ice! At 30 metres long, a ride down this elevated slide is definitely set to get your heart racing.

North Sydney Brick Fair

When: Saturday 20 – Sunday 21 July, 10am – 4pm

Where: HomeHQ Artarmon, 1 Frederick St, Artarmon

Get ready to be amazed by the creative masterpieces of some of Sydney LEGO User Group’s awesome builders. This exciting display will include a large city layout with train, hundreds of minifig habitats and a great ball contraption. You may also get the chance to meet some brick-building celebrities…

We’ll also have over 100 kg of LEGO available for kids to make their own creations. And if there is pocket money that needs to be spent (yours or theirs!) we have rare and retired LEGO sets, parts, and minifigs for sale.

The Dog Lovers Show Sydney

When:  Sat 3rd and Sun 4th August 2-19

Where:  Sydney Showgound, Sydney Olympic Park

One of the world’s largest festivals dedicated to educating and entertaining dog lovers, whilst paying tribute to our four-legged friends. This year, the new Sydney home has sky-rocketed the festival to the next level with bigger entertainment arenas, extended celebrity line-ups, furrier features, hundreds of dog-dedicated products and the chance to cuddle over 800 canines represented by more than 150 breeds.
