How To Find Last-Minute School Holiday Deals

Now here’s a post that’s written as much for me and my family as you and yours.  We don’t always know if we will be able to get away, and sometimes only find out at the last minute.

If you’re the same, here are some ideas for where to find last minute family holidays and hotel deals for weekends away.

Please do leave a comment if you know of other great places to look as I would love to keep adding to the info here.

Even when we can’t get away, I still love to browse, to see the flights that we might take one day, and to do a bit of holiday dreaming…. ahhhhh….

Scoopon Holiday Deals

You can find some real bargains on Scoopon, for holidays overseas and all over Australia as well.

Check out the links below and see where you might find yourself! Last Minute Deals has a great Last Minute Deals page.  Always worth a look, even if just to dream!

Their motto: ‘Book today, holiday tomorrow’ is highly appealing!  Click the advert below:’s Last-Minute Specials and Deals

I like as you generally don’t need to pay up front and can cancel bookings if you need to.  Also their website is very easy to use.  Just click on the Find Deals tab to check out last minute bargains, see image above.

Readers of this blog love to visit Canberra, Jervis Bay, Orange and Bathurst; see below some widgets to find good deals in these places.

Just search the blog to find out all the best places to see and do in these places.

So this is a start, and I’ll add in more last-minute deals pages as I find them.

Where do you fancy a last-minute escape to?

Happy planning!

HI Seana – does SeaWorld have linked rooms at all? Would rather have control of the kiddos NOT getting out the front door but we need a separate sleeping room cos sleeping beauty wakes at the slightest noise.

Yes, when we stayed there we had two adjoining rooms and kept the door open. Probably best to request this at time of booking and then call to check day before too.
