Gunnamatta Beach and Baths
Gunnamatta Park, Nicholson Parade
Great little spot on the peaceful and calm waters of Gunnamatta Bay with splendid views. This is a flat sandy beach with a large swimming enclosure, a boardwalk and a separate section with lane markings. There are plenty of shallows for the little ones to play in and the road is far away. The promenade is good for bike riding. This is a handy spot if you are travelling to Cronulla by train as it is the closest beach to the station.
Toilets: Toilet block beside the playground
Shade: Not on the beach, but shade from trees in Gunnamatta Park Playground: Large one in Gunnamatta Park (see page 144)

Mum’s report: Gunnamatta Beach and Baths is a safe and relaxing surf-free spot in Cronulla with a play ground, so it’s particularly good for the kids.
