Here’s a playground not to miss when you visit Orange in NSW’s Central West with kids. It’s Orange Adventure Playground, one of NSW’s finest. The playground is close to the Botanic Gardens, and even closer to the Patmos Garden Cafe.
Rather than describe every feature, I’ve made a little video. It’s less than 2 minutes long and you’ll see all the great features.

isn’t this park the best?! We stayed in Orange for Easter a few years ago and decided to stay there again this Easter – this park played a big role in deciding this 🙂 We have spent many hours at this park. Happy days.
Nice work on the video. The Playground is great for little kids and the Indoor Aquatic Centre is also a good option – even in Winter! We also enjoy Lake Canobolas as it’s a way to get out of town, take a picnic, walk around the Lake and then slip up the Mountain to get back to nature – birds, flowers, wallabies etc.
Thank you! We threw snowballs at the top of Mt Canobolas recently, but there’s so much more to explore there and all around Orange. We’ll be coming and going a fair bit so looking forward to more exploring.
