Shelly Beach Playground, Park + Beach at Cronulla

Don’t you just love that park bench? How beachy is that?

But it’s just a teaser for the many joys of Shelley Park playground in Cronulla.

Surf board and paddle bench, love it

In the winter it’s well worth a visit just for the playground, in summer there’s the lovely beach, the rock pool and the large park to enjoy as well.

Shelly Beach Playground

Ewos Parade Cronulla 2230

A really wonderful playground, fully fenced with marvellous equipment and a bushy feel. There are lovely artworks dotted about, stone sculptures and a terrific colour scheme.

Sea views, picnic tables and BBQs, shade from beautiful trees and a lovely baths nearby—what more could a family desire?

There is lots of sand softfall in this playground, and a huge boat-shaped sandpit. There are swings, including a Liberty Swing, climbing frames, music makers, rockers and a roundabout.

Come for a long time, and for a good time, it’s a southern Sydney family favourite.

Can you recommend another great playground in Sydney’s south?

I’d love to hear about more and there’s nothing so good as a mum or dad’s personal recommendation.
