Where To Stay At Jervis Bay – With Kids

Huskisson beach jervis bay

So, I’ve been banging on for years abouy how much we love Jervis Bay, and the 25 Things To Do With Kids at Jervis Bay post gets lots of people reading every day.

But what about finding a place to stay?

Well, there are actually all sorts of options around the Bay.  Too many!

I’m writing here about places I know and am happy to recommend. They are all around Huskisson and Vincentia.  There are other towns and villages around the Bay, but I just don’t know them well enough to make personal recommendations.

Renting a Beach House

A house or apartment is often the best bet for families.  There are many to be found on Stayz and on AirBnB, of course.

There are several real estate agents also who can give their advice, but the agency that I’d recommend first and foremost is Jervis Bay Rentals.

Jervis Bay Rentals

This company has upmarket rentals, many are beach front properties. My friends have used Jervis Bay rentals as customers and we use them as the the letting agent for our own beach house. So I am quite biased!

Seriously though, have a chat on the phone to the lovely people at Jervis Bay Rentals, tell them about your group, preferences and budget, they’ll be very helpful.

These are in a great location on the main street in Huskisson, just opposite the delightful cinema.

The Porch Room at Huskisson B&B

Huskisson B&B

The only B&B which welcomes children and has a family suite of two rooms is this pretty property.  I’ve written a post about it here, you’ll find lots of lovely photos there.

Holiday Parks + Camping

We used to stay in a cabin at the White Sands Holiday Park in years gone by and had great holidays there. There are two right on the beach, with good facilities and close to all the joys of Huski and Moona Moona Creek.  Both offer cabins of varying sizes plus powered camp sites.

I’ve heard about a place that offers real bush camping too, but haven’t checked it our myself:

Hidden Creek Real Camping

And then of course there’s luxury glamping, a very well regarded and upmarket venue is:

Paperbark Camp

Hotels and Motels

There are quite a few of these and I can’t say much about them except that I think that the Huskisson Beach Motel and the Sundowner Huskisson Bayside are both in a fabulous location, just across the road from the fun playground at the White Sands park and lovely beach below it.

For others, have a look at Hotels Combined to check what’s around and available, and at what cost:

Have you stayed at Jervis Bay?

Can you recommend a good place to other families?

Happy holiday planning,
