Run by the YMCA, Hawkesbury is a very large centre with a spacious leisure pool which has a 25 metre laps area as well as all the family-orientated areas. There is a water slide and a lagoon area for toddlers with fountains, one of which spouts from a large whale. There is also a beach entry with bubble beach.
Plenty of seating is provided around the toddler area and the cafe. A wall of windows makes the indoor pool very light and bright, and in summertime it opens out onto the outdoor pool and grass area.
Cafe: Serves hot dogs, sandwiches, cakes, croissants, chicken nuggets and nachos. There is an outdoor kiosk in summer.

Mum’s report: This is a very child-orientated pool with lots of fun stuff for them. The music videos give this centre a lively feel.
