Warriewood Valley Playground (usually known as Rocket Park) is fabulous playground on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
The setting is peaceful, there is space to play and some excellent equipment especially for primary school kids and even teenagers.
Warriewood Valley District Playground
Callistemon Way, Warriewood
Known fondly by locals as ‘Rocket Park,’ this is a playground that suits all ages, great to visit if you have a range of kids with you.
It’s also excellent for family get togethers, parties and mothers’ groups. There are BBQs and shaded shelters , grassy areas to play and not too many cars going by.
The equipment is excellent as you can see. Plenty for the little kids and the daredevils.
And here’s the Rocket itself.
Enclosed: No and the carpark is close by but it’s not a busy road.
Parking: Spaces alongside the playground and in surrounding streets.
Toilets: Yes at playground, with baby change
