Who knew there’s a permanent kids club at a resort so close to Sydney??!!
The twin terrors and I spent a couple of nights at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley in December and had the most lovely time.
The stand out for my wee lass and lad, who are eight years old, was the sessions they spent at Water Dragons, the kids club at this resort. It really is terrific and they were literally demanding to go back and go back.
And why would I refuse? I had photos to take and notes to make… and a face in dire need of some pampering at the lovely Tea Tree Spa.
Water Dragons is in a separate building within the resort grounds. You can walk from the main area in five to ten minutes, or can drive there.
There are several play areas within the building with all sorts of equipment and art and craft.
There are outdoor play areas too, including a playground and a big sports field.
Sessions take place every day, from 9am – 12 noon and then from 1pm – 4pm. The cost per session is only $15 per child.
In busy periods, it is a good idea to book ahead. But out of peak season you are generally fine to book once you arrive at the resort.
This little train runs around the resort in holiday season. My twins were thrilled to be delivered back to me one day at the main resort building.
