There are so many pram friendly walks in Sydney, there is bound to be one near you. You and your baby will be able to get out to stretch your legs without encountering too many bumps, steps or busy road. On your walks with a pram or stroller around Sydney you will also find some of the most beautiful, uplifting views. So your pram walks with babies and toddlers will make you feel great and help blow all the mental cobwebs away.
I will divide the walks up into areas. Now bear in mind that all of these pram friendly walks are well worth travelling to get too. All of these are also great spots to meet up with family and friends for a walk, a natter and maybe a picnic.
Pram Friendly Walks Western Sydney
Parramatta River Walk
You can choose to walk for a short or long distance alongside the Parramatta River. You’ll see some beautiful Indigenous artworks plus there’s a cool playground. Read a description here of a shorter version of the Parramatta River Walk. Note that there is now a 350m boardwalk on the north side of the Parramatta River across from the ferry wharf, extending the walk I originally described here.
Find a brochure detailing the entire much longer walk which, in fact, goes 10km along the north side of the Parramatta River all the way to Meadowbank.
Parramatta Park Walk
Parramatta is a very large and attractive park, one of Sydney’s finest. You can enjoy a long walk around there with your pram, and you will find smooth walkways, playgrounds and cafes to enjoy too. Find a detailed description of pram walks in Parramatta Park here.
